Communication

Communication between parents/guardians and teachers is key!  I look forward to communicating with you in a variety of ways this school year.

Blog

I will update the blog weekly with information about things we did in class that week as well as things we will be doing in the upcoming weeks.  Please be sure to read over the blog each week so you can be up to date about the happenings in the classroom.

Email

Email is the best way to get a hold of me.  I have my email open all day and check it throughout the day when I'm not teaching.  Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.  

I will also send out email reminders as well as email out the blog link each week with important highlights for the upcoming week.

Friday Folders

Friday Folders will be sent home bi-weekly and will have a checklist that reflects your student's work habits, interactions with peers and interactions with adults.  I will also have a place for comments from me and you can put comments as well.  

Twitter

Please follow our classroom on Twitter. Our handle is @TeamRossRBE.  I will try to tweet out a picture most days so you get to see all the learning occurring in the classroom.  

Seesaw

This will be my first year using Seesaw and I am looking forward to using it to share your student's work with you and also as another form of communication.  Your student will have a portfolio of work you will be able to access from the Seesaw app or website.  In addition to sharing work with you on Seesaw, students will also be creating and submitting assignments/activities through Seesaw.
